The Self-Awareness Series
Welcome! This series of affirmations and tips are designed to enhance your self-awareness, the quality of your relationships, and your overall happiness.
Our patterns of thinking lead to our perceptions of ourselves and others, and out of those perceptions we react and take action. By selecting our thoughts, we begin to form new ways of processing our experiences and develop conscious, productive ways of interacting with life.

I find time to listen to my authentic self.
My authentic self has gifts, desires, and passions unique to me. Expressing my authentic self is my key to happiness. Authenticity cannot be found in offerings I am bombarded by in advertisements nor is it reflected in claims on social media. My authentic path is exclusive to me, and my path can only be found through exploring and following my inner impulses and guidance. It is deep within my inner world where I find my unique way of moving through this world.
Coming into harmony with my true self requires quiet reflection and a willingness to dedicate time to my own inner explorations.
A New Authenticity Routine
Consider a new routine that includes journaling, mindful meditations, creating art, making music, walking in nature or any activity in which you are able to be with yourself and listen to yourself.
Ask yourself these questions:
- What percentage of the time am I orientated to my outer world?
- Do I give myself time to listen to my inner world?
If you find that very little time is allotted to self-awareness, self-reflection, or self-nurturing, then deliberately schedule a date with yourself and start the process of getting to know your authentic self more deeply.
